HOUSING WAITING LIST INFORMATION LINE
A voice automated housing hotline available 24 hours a day to help callers locate their position on the waiting lists for public housing, Housing Choice Voucher, and the Fairfax County moderate income rental programs. The hotline also includes information regarding which waiting lists are open and accepting applications and which lists are closed.

Organization Description:
Administers the county's affordable housing and community revitalization programs. In addition to its role as a department of Fairfax County government, reporting to the County Executive and the Board of Supervisors, HCD also serves as the staff for the Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA). The FCRHA is a separate political body whose members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors and which possesses specific powers granted by state code.
