This is the cemetery of "Moorefield", c. 1790, the home of famed Baptist minister JEREMIAH MOORE. A masonry wall with no gate opening surrounds the gravesite. There are two inscribed stones and an unknown number of unmarked burials present. A bronze plaque was once affixed to the wall, but had disappeared prior to 1987. The plaque read: "WITHIN THIS ENCLOSURE ARE BURIED/THE REV. JEREMIAH MOORE (1746-1815)/AND HIS WIFE/LYDIA RENO MOORE (1745-1835)/AND SOME OF/THEIR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN." In June 2000, Historic Vienna, Inc. erected a replacement plaque.
