| Mission Statement |
The purpose of this organization
is to maintain an association of persons interested
in promoting public library services and related
activities for the residents of Vienna, Virginia
and the surrounding area.

Funds raised by the Friends'
two books sales per year buy needed extras for
our branch, such as:
- Shelving
- Banners
- Revolving book racks
- Children’s program support
- ViVa! Vienna! Booth
- Volunteer appreciation events
- Meeting Room Tables
- Paging System
- Support for History Fairfax County Government Canopy for events
- System Furniture workroom lights
- Book display units
- Circulation desk
- Signage
- Benches and planters

| Book Sales |
An ongoing book sale is available in the library during all open hours.
2010 dates for the Mega Book Sale, held in the library meeting room, are April 17th & 18th and October 16th & 17th.

| Donation Process |
|
Donations of books in good
condition are welcomed. We do not accept magazines, Readers'
Digests, textbooks or books that are in poor
condition.
