Books and Authors contains descriptions of
thousands of highly recommended adult, teen and children's fiction titles
from multiple genres. This is very useful if you would like to know the
sequence of a series of titles by one author or if you are looking for
other authors who write in a similar genre or style.

eBook Collection (formerly NetLibrary) is
a viewable collection of textbooks, test prep books and technical
materials.
- Some titles are not listed in the library catalog. To access our entire collection, logon directly to EBSCOhost.
- You do not need to create an EBSCO eBook account to view a book, but you will need to create an account to download or place a hold on a title.
- To create an EBSCO eBook account log on with your FCPL library card and then in the upper right hand corner select Sign In.
- If you access EBSCOHost from home, you’ll need to have a Fairfax County library card.
- If you place a hold on a book, you’ll be notified by e-mail an hour after the previous user logs out.

Gale Virtual Reference Library is a collection of eBook
encyclopedias and almanacs.

Literature Resources lets you search several literature
databases at the same time on a Website designed specifically for
literature research. Find the full texts of literary works, journal
articles, literary criticism, reviews, biographical information and
overviews.

LitFinder contains full-text poems, short stories,
speeches and plays including some material in Spanish.

Collection.

Novelist supplies lists of titles by fiction authors
and allows you to find authors who write books similar to those of a
particular fiction author you enjoy. Many titles have links to reviews,
table of contents for anthologies, and/or first chapters. There are also
author biographies and recommended reading lists. It is searchable by
author, title, series name, award winners, or a general plot description.

and history of the English language. It also contains millions of
quotations.

animation, music and narration from a variety of children's publishers.
This online resource provides story books, nonfiction picturebooks,
chapter books, games, and puzzles to help children who are reading by
themselves as well as those who are building their reading skills. There
is also a language learning section with titles in Spanish and French.
