Each workshop features a seasonal theme and a project to take home. November 14 Saturday Flower Power: Grow Awesome Amaryllis 2-3pm. Flower power in winter! Learn to grow a big, colorful amaryllis flower indoors. Plant your own amaryllis bulb in a container to take home and add color to the holidays. Includes bulb, container, and soil.$18/project December 5 Saturday Flower Power: Grow Pretty Paperwhites 2-3pm. Discover how easy it is to force flower bulbs to bloom indoors! Plant your own paperwhite bulbs in a container to brighten the wintry days ahead. Includes bulbs, container, and soil. $18/project January 16 Saturday Let It Snow: Snow Globe Workshop 2-3pm. Create an enchanted winter wonderland scene in a jar with miniature figurines. Then turn it into a snow globe with magic snow flakes. Take it home and let it snow! Includes all materials needed to complete project $18/project. February 6 Saturday Flower Power: Blooming Branches for a Winter Bouquet 2-3pm. Flowers in winter? Yes! Get a jump on the seasons by forcing flowers. It's easy. We'll show you how to cut branches of flowering trees and shrubs and coax them to bloom indoors for an early spring! $18/project includes branches and containers Family Story Time Visit the Children's Library Corner, listen to stories read aloud and enjoy an activity.
