SMALL BUSINESS COMMISSION

Purpose:			To advise and assist the Board, County Executive and County Purchasing Agent on any matter that will enhance the capability of small, minority-owned, and emerging businesses to succeed. Such matters are the formulation of policies or procedures which may affect the management, operation or financial stability of these businesses to better position them to do work in or for Fairfax County.

Terms:			3 years

Number of Seats:			12

Membership:			Twelve (12) Fairfax County Residents (who do not need to live in the district he/she represents)- (9)one for each magisterial district and (3) at-large representatives.

Meeting Info:			Usually last Monday of every month @ 7:00 p.m. in Conference Room 9 or 10, Fairfax County Govt. Center.
