Welcome to the Braddock District

Supervisor Bulova Welcome to the Braddock District!

Whether you have moved here from another part of the county, the country or the world, you will find the Braddock District a nice, in fact, a neighborly place to live. We are in the center (I like to say heart) of Fairfax County and home to both a thriving community college and a major university. To learn more about Braddock, you can visit our homepage. To keep you up-to-date on, and engaged in, current issues, I host several town meetings a year and publish a twice yearly newsletter, the Braddock Byline . Town Meetings are televised on cable channel 16.

For information on things you need to know and do when you move to Fairfax County you may wish to request the booklet A Newcomer's Guide to Fairfax County from my office or by accessing it on the web here. From registering to vote, to registering your car or dog, this publication will tell you how. To find out where to vote, visit Fairfax County's Citizenship and Voting webpage.

The Braddock District Supervisor's office is adjacent the Kings Park Library in Burke, near Lake Braddock High School and the Kings Park Shopping Center. The address is 9002 Burke Lake Road, Burke, VA 22015. Normal hours of operation are Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. My staff and I can be reached during those hours or by mail at the above address or e-mail us using the constituent comment form.

The spring issue of my Braddock Byline Newsletter includes the schedule and directions for Braddock Nights Concerts which are held every Friday evening during the summer at both Lake Accotink (off of Heming Ave. in North Springfield) and Royal Lake (which is located off of Gainsborough Dr. in the Kings Park West community). In 2006, we began having Braddock Nights Concerts on Thursday nights during the sumer at Ossian Hall Park in Annandale, next to the Annandale High School. Concerts are free and foster a sense of community for you and your neighbors. I hope you will make Braddock Nights part of your summer tradition!

Again, I look forward to getting to know you and welcome you warmly into the Braddock District. If you are interested in volunteering, have any questions, or wish to bring any issues to my attention, please contact my office at (703) 425-9300 any time.

Sincerely

Sharon Bulova
Braddock District Supervisor
