Board of Supervisors to Consider Significant Changes in Water
Policy
The Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on December 6 at
4:00 p.m. in the Board Auditorium, to consider amending Chapter 65 of the
County Code to establish an exclusive service area and maximum allowable
rates for water service within Fairfax County. This amendment would
ensure that Fairfax County customers are protected against the imposition
of possibly excessive rates and charges set by a governing body that does
not represent them.
Planning for West Campus Connector Nears End as Advisory Group Makes
Recommendation
After a second open house on the project was held on October 26 and
additional input citizen input was collected both then and over the
course of several more weeks, the West Campus Connector Advisory Group
met recently to decide on their recommended alternative for the
Connector.
