The Department of Housing and Community Development manages many properties across the county. These apartments, town homes and condominiums are all part of the Fairfax County Rental Program - a program that helps bridge the gap of affordability for many families. Rents in the program are more affordable as they reflect a balance between other costs of living with housing costs, helping those who have jobs in Fairfax County to call the county their home.
