Michele Jones, Hunter Mill District
Michele Jones is honored to be Supervisor Cathy Hudgins Hunter Mill District appointee to the Commission for Women. She has lived in Fairfax County for over 10 years.
Ms. Jones is Founder and President of the Time To Fly Foundation (TTF) TTF a faith based grass roots volunteer driven organization charged to help families overcome the devastation of domestic abuse, break the generational cycle of violence and strengthen the family unit.
Her extensive 25 year plus professional background includes successfully selling services for Fortune 100 global corporations. Her experience includes corporate strategic sales, project management, designing training programs, committee chairperson on various civic organizations such as Fairfax County Domestic Violence Taskforce, professional associations and as a Fairfax County Women's Shelter Volunteer.
She is fully aware of the challenges women may face in securing quality employment with advancement, economic opportunities, educational funding, legal awareness and effective health care coverage while balancing the responsibilities of the home front.
