Commission for Women - Commissioners - Nancy Krakover
Nancy Krakover, Braddock District
Mrs. Krakover is honored to serve Braddock District and the County as Supervisor John Cook's appointee to the Commission for Women. She has lived in Northern Virginia since 1973.
She is the executive assistant to the Senior Vice President for mergers and acquisitions for VeriSign, Inc.
She is a past Chairman of the Fairfax County Electoral Board supervising elections in Fairfax County.
Mrs. Krakover has a B.A. in education and has experience in teaching primary grades. She is interested in quality, affordable child care and was on the initial Board of Directors of the Tysons Corner Play and Learn Center, Inc. assisting with start-up operations at the Tysons area's first corporate funded daycare center.
Mrs. Krakover was a liaison with faculty in the Grant Thornton/McLean High School Business/School Partnership.
