Attention Route 595 and 597 Fairfax Connector Passengers

Due to construction on Fern Street between Army-Navy Drive and 15th Street, routes 595 and 597 will be modified beginning Monday, November 26, 2007 as follows:

Route 595 - Southbound Eads Street will be used in place of Fern Street while exiting the Pentagon during the evening service before turning left onto 15th Street. Remainder of route to Reston East Park & Ride will continue as currently published. No changes to morning service.

Route 597 - Hayes Street will be used in place of Fern Street during both morning and evening service. Morning service will turn left off of Army-Navy Drive onto southbound Hayes Street and left onto 15th Street. Evening service will turn right off of 15th Street onto northbound Hayes Street and right onto Army-Navy Drive. This will add Pentagon City Metro as a stop as well as other existing stops along this segment of Hayes Street. Remaining portions of the route will continue as currently published.

Estimated duration of construction is 18 months.
