Top Deck of Herndon-Monroe Park-and-Ride Garage Reopens March 29
The top deck of the Herndon-Monroe Parking Garage, 12530 Sunrise Valley Drive, Herndon, will reopen on Saturday, March 29. The top deck was closed for the winter snow season as a precautionary measure to minimize deterioration to the surface from the use of snow-clearing equipment and ice-melting chemicals.
Areas throughout the 1,600-parking-space garage will continue to be blocked off awaiting the structural repair and maintenance project slated to begin in the summer with an anticipated completion late this year. The repairs will include cleaning, sealing and waterproofing at all levels, improvements to drainage patterns and other structural enhancements. During the repair work, the garage will remain open and sections will be closed as necessary.
REMINDER: OVERNIGHT PARKING IS PROHIBITED in the garage. Vehicles Parked overnight will be towed at the owner's expense.
