FAIRFAX CONNECTOR SNOW SERVICE SUMMARY
Because weather conditions may vary in different areas of the County, FAIRFAX CONNECTOR Snow Service is divided into two general service areas: FAIRFAX CONNECTOR SOUTH and FAIRFAX CONNECTOR NORTH. Snow Service announcements will be made by service area affected. When Snow Service is announced, it will remain in effect until conditions warrant a change in service. The types of service that may be operated within each of the two areas are:
- Normal Service
- Snow Service
- No Service
To find out what type of service will be operated:
- Watch Cable Channel 16
- Tune into radio station WMAL-AM 630
- Log onto www.fairfaxconnector.com
- Call the Fairfax Connector Information Center at 703-339-7200, TTY 703-339- 1608.
The FAIRFAX CONNECTOR routes that will operate, and any modifications that will be made to their regular routing when Snow Service is in effect, are listed in the FAIRFAX CONNECTOR SNOW SERVICE ROUTES tables in the following links:
North Fairfax County Snow Service Routes
South Fairfax County Snow Service Routes
Routes not included in the tables will not be operated when Snow Service is in effect. See the Winter Weather Travel Guides for route maps and more details.
Only stops on FAIRFAX CONNECTOR SNOW SERVICE ROUTES will be serviced. Snowflakes on bus stop signs are to be disregarded. Please stand at a stop that is not blocked by snow or ice.
