Route 159 - Modified

Changes effective: Tuesday, Sep. 6
Limited-stop service will be provided along Richmond Highway.
Buses will stop at REX bus stops only along Richmond Highway.
Buses will serve all bus stops in the Engleside and Sequoyah neighborhoods along Buckman Road, Janna Lee Avenue, Tamarind Drive, Seven Woods Road, Russell Road, Lawrence Street, Fyre Road, Pole Road and Sacramento Drive.

Changes effective: Saturday, Sep. 3
Service will operate between Huntington Metro Station and the Lorton VRE, serving Fort Belvoir/DLA.
Route 171 will no longer operate between Lorton VRE and the Franconia-Springfield Metro Station (see NEW Route 371).
Route 171 buses will operate 20-minute service during rush hours, and 30-minute service during midday, evening and on weekends.

Changes effective: Tuesday, Sep. 6
Service will be combined with Route 307 and operate every 30 to 40 minutes between the Lorton VRE Station and Franconia-Springfield Metro during weekday rush periods.
Newington Forest, Silverbrook and Laurel Hill passengers will have service to Franconia-Springfield Metro to the north and the Lorton VRE Station to the south.
Service to the Gambrill Road and Sydenstricker park and ride lots will be maintained.

Service will be eliminated.
Last day of service: Friday, Sep. 2
See routes 305 and 371 for service in Laurel Hill and Route 371 for service in Lorton.

Changes effective: Saturday, Sep. 3
Service will operate on a 20-minute schedule during rush hours, 30-minute schedule during midday and evenings and 60-minute schedule on weekends.
Later weekday evening service is added to the schedule between Franconia-Springfield Metro and Rolling Valley Park and Ride.
There are no changes to the routing.

Service will be eliminated.
Last day of service: Friday, Sep. 2

First day of service: Tuesday, Sep. 6
NEW routes that will serve Franconia-Springfield Metro, Loisdale Road, Newington, Gateway 95, Fort Belvoir/DLA, NVCC Medical College and Boston Boulevard.
Service will operate weekdays only with buses operating every 30 minutes during rush periods and approximately every 60 minutes midday.
Service in central Springfield will be provided by routes 310, 321, 322, 401, and 402.

First day of service: Tuesday, Sep. 6
NEW route that will operate service between Franconia-Springfield Metro/VRE station and the new Fort Belvoir Community Hospital via Telegraph Gate.
Route 335 provides limited-stop service stopping only at Franconia-Springfield Station, Beulah Street and Kingstowne Village Parkway, Beulah Street at Telegraph Road (Landsdowne Center) outside of Fort Belvoir.

First day of service: Saturday, Sep. 3
NEW route that provides service between the Franconia-Springfield Metro and Lorton via Patriot Ridge, Fullerton Road, Saratoga Center, Laurel Hill and Lorton VRE Station.
This route replaces the southern portion of existing Route 171.
Service will operate on a 20-minute schedule during rush hours, 30 to 40-minute schedule during midday and evenings, and 50 to 60-minute schedule on weekends.
Transfers to Route 171 service will be available at the Lorton VRE Station.

Route number eliminated.
Route number will be permanently changed to Route 395; no changes to the route or schedule.
