Fairfax Connector Implements Changes on Four Routes

Effective Monday, October 15, 2012, Fairfax Connector will modify four routes to better serve passenger needs and improve on-time performance. The affected routes include: 231, 232, 333 and 334.
Following is a summary of the changes:
- Eliminate service to the Landsdowne and Island Creek neighborhoods along Morning View and View Lane after 6:45 a.m. Route 335 will serve the neighborhoods after 6:45 a.m.
- Eliminate service to the Landsdowne and Island Creek neighborhoods along Morning View and View Lane before 6 p.m. Route 335 will serve the neighborhoods before 6 p.m.
- Modification to routing and schedule to serve Patriot Ridge, NGA, Saratoga Park and Ride and Franconia-Springfield Metrorail Station.
- Removal of service from Boston Boulevard, Cinderbed Road, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Fairfax County Parkway, Fullerton Road (Between Rolling and Boudinot), Gateway 95, Loisdale Lane, Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC) Medical Education Campus, and Rolling Road.
- Modification to routing and schedule to provide more direct service from Franconia-Springfield Metrorail Station to Cinderbed Road, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Fairfax County Parkway, Gateway 95, Loisdale Lane, and Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC) Medical Education Campus.
- Removal of service from Boston Boulevard, Fullerton Road, and Rolling Road.
