- Passengers are allowed to consume water on buses July 27
- The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for July 27.
- Heat index values are predicted to be 105-108 degrees.

Please watch out for vulnerable passengers:
- Older adults
- Very young children
- Individuals with special medical needs
- View additional heat safety tips
- The exception applies to water only on Fairfax Connector buses.
- Passengers are encouraged to use water containers that can be tightly secured and use trash or recycling receptacles to dispose of any waste.
