Fairfax Connector Detours
Route 304
- Route 304 buses will travel along a modified detour due to construction on the Fairfax County Parkway (Phase III) at Rolling Road

Route 304 buses
will travel north on Mulberry Bottom Lane to a right onto
Chancellor Way to a right onto Donegal Lane to a right onto the
Fairfax County Parkway to the Barta Road
interchange before reconnecting with southbound Rolling Road near O’Dell Street -
The bus stop at Rolling Road and Richfield Road will not be served;
passengers using this
stop should use existing bus stops along Mulberry Bottom Lane at Richfield Road or along
Rolling Road near Fullerton Road for Route 304 service
Routes 401 and 402
- Route 401 and 402 buses will detour due to the construction at Fairfax Hospital
- Route 401 (northbound) buses will detour via Woodburn Road to serve the new on-site Transit Terminal located at the end of Woodburn Access Road on the hospital campus.
- Route 402 (southbound) buses will continue to serve the existing on-street bus stop along Gallows Road adjacent to the emergency entrance. Route 402 passengers should exit buses at stops along Gallows Road to reach Fairfax Hospital
- Passengers transferring to Metrobus Route 1A or 1C service should utilize the new on-site Transit Terminal located at the end of Woodburn Access Road on the hospital campus.
Dulles Rail and 495 Express Lanes construction may impact Fairfax Connector Service
- Additional phases of Dulles Rail and 495 Express Lanes construction may impact service on Fairfax Connector routes serving the Tysons Corner and I-495 corridor areas.
