Getting around Tysons Corner on your lunch break is a lot easier, thanks to a lunchtime shuttle named the “Tysons Connector.”
This FREE service features two midday shuttle routes operating at 10-minute intervals in central Tysons Corner.
The two routes operate weekdays from 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. to and from Tysons Corner Center, Tysons Galleria, and the major employers located nearby. Employees, shoppers, residents, and visitors to Tysons Corner are encouraged to park their cars and ride the shuttle for free.
Tysons Corner Transit Options
In addition to the Tysons Connector lunchtime shuttle, new express bus service operated by PRTC OmniRide will bring commuters from Woodbridge to Tysons on weekdays. The Tysons Express from Woodbridge started Nov. 9. For route and schedule information, visit www.prtctransit.org.

The lunchtime shuttle routes are being implemented as a part of the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project Transportation Management Plan (TMP) which offers transportation options to employers and commuters during construction of Dulles rail. The Tysons Connector is funded by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority's Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project TMP and will be operated by Fairfax County with 32-foot Fairfax Connector buses. It is part of the first of three phases of enhanced transit in Tysons Corner, accompanying the construction and operation of Dulles rail.
