The Regulation and Licensing Branch exercises regulatory oversight and issues licenses, permits or registrations in the following business areas:

massage Massage Establishments

massage therapists Massage Therapists

solicitor Solicitors, Canvassers, Peddlers, Promoters

metals and gems  Precious Metals and Gems Dealers

Pawn Pawn Brokers

Taxi  Taxicab Companies and Taxicab Drivers

Towing Trespass Towing

Regulation and Licensing Branch is responsible for issuing licenses, permits and registrations; conducting taxicab inspections; conducting business inspections to encourage licensure compliance; and mediating complaints associated with trespass tows and taxicab trips originating in the County.    Staff also provides community outreach and education related to the business areas regulated.
