1. Request for Court Action.
This form serves as the civil praecipe for requesting a continuance, non-suit, or dismissal on a civil case.
- Complete, print, and sign.
- Be sure to include your Bar ID and phone numbers.
- Case numbers may be obtained at www.courts.state.va.us under Case Status and Information, General District Court, Case information. Select Fairfax County General District Court from the drop down menu and change Case Type to "Civil" and Case Status to "Active/Inactive". Then enter the plaintiff or defendant name.
