Juvenile Detention Job Openings

Juvenile Detention Center (part-time)

Salary: $18.05/hour (Grade S14)
Location: 10650 Page Avenue

Cares for and supervises residents. Relief counselors will be responsible for program implementation and behavioral management of residents on an as needed basis. Day, evening, overnight, weekend and holiday hours will be required.

Minimum Qualifications: Third-year college students majoring in courses in the behavioral sciences. One year work experience with children or adolescent groups may be substituted for one year of academic credit toward a bachelor’s degree; or, completion of a two-year certificate or associate's degree in behavioral sciences and two years of full-time work experience with adolescent/delinquent youths.

Selection Procedure: Evaluation of relevant education and experience. Personal interview of top-rated applicants.
