The 13th Annual Tim Harmon Recovery Run/Walk 5K will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 8:30 a.m. at the Fairfax County Government Center. This event is sponsored by the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board (CSB) to raise awareness about substance abuse and Hepatitis C, to raise funds to help people served by the CSB, and to honor the memory of Tim Harmon, a loved and respected CSB employee.
Race registration is $20 before June 9 and $25 after that and is available online. Additional information about the race is available at www.timharmon5K.org.
Once again this year, employees of the Police Department and the Fire and Rescue Department are challenging each other in the race.
Over 100 awards, lots of prizes and fun for all, including performances by the Sock Monkeys band!
