Parenting Education Programs Multicultural Human Services Alexandria City Early Childhood Development Stop Child Abuse Now (SCAN) of Northern Virginia Parenting Education Programs This program offers parenting classes that include the entire family – parents and their children. Childcare is available for children ages 0 - 4. Children's component, designed for ages 5 and older, discusses rules, praise and criticism, personal power and includes a yoga component. Parents with children of all ages are invited. Services are free. A light dinner is provided. ABCs of Parenting Program curriculum is used. Educational Parent Support Groups: Groups are open, ongoing and available in Spanish and English. Services are free.
