- Over 40 Students and Job Seekers Attend Disabilities Mentoring Day
- Fairfax County recognized the 20th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act - Fairfax County recognized the 20th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act on July 27, 2010. As part of the recognition, the Board of Supervisors issued a resolution marking the anniversary. To commemorate the milestone, the Fairfax Area Disability Services Board hosted a reception attended by elected officials, advocates, Fairfax County advisory board members, and persons with disabilities. Attendees celebrated the progress made toward ensuring equality and inclusion of people with disabilities and acknowledged that this work needs to continue
