Ticket to Work Program

The Ticket to Work program, administered by the Social Security Administration, is a free and voluntary program for Social Security disability beneficiaries to explore work options without immediately losing their benefits and find the job that is right for them.

Who is Eligible

Anyone between the ages of 18-64 who receives Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and/or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits because of disability.

How It Works

Social Security disability beneficiaries should contact an Employment Network to develop an Individual Work Plan that contains your employment goals and the services and supports you need. Employment Networks provide career counseling, job placement, and on-going support services. These services are free because the Employment Networks are paid by the Social Security Administration.
