If someone you know in Fairfax County is experiencing homelessness, they are welcome to come in from the cold to sleep in a safe place. Call one of the county’s community shelters about the winter program:
The Bailey’s Crossroads Community Shelter is located in the Bailey’s/Culmore area, at 3525 Moncure Ave. on the corner of Moncure and Columbia Pike at Bailey’s Crossroads, and the phone number is 703-820-7621, TTY 711;
The Eleanor U. Kennedy Shelter is located on Richmond Highway (Route 1) near Fort Belvoir, at 9155 Richmond Highway, and the phone number is 703-799-0200, TTY 711;
The Embry Rucker Community Shelter is located at 11975 Bowman Towne Drive in Reston near the Reston library, and the phone number is 703-437-1975, TTY 711.

Este es un aviso urgente del Departamento de Servicios Familiares del Condado de Fairfax, Virginia para nuestros residentes Hispanos/Latinos.
Es muy peligroso durante el invierno dormir a la intemperie. Algunas personas sin albergue han muerto en la calle por no tener la protección adecuada durante las noches de invierno cuando las temperaturas suelen ponerse muy frías. Es por esto que el Condado de Fairfax les desea informar a todos sus residentes que durante el invierno, tienen refugios o albergues temporeros disponibles para aquellos que necesiten protegerse del frío en las noches.
