The Fairfax Area Disability Services Board and the Virginia Department of Rehabilitative Services are co-hosting a public hearing on Monday, December 11, to hear from local residents about ways to update and strengthen the annual state plan for the Vocational Rehabilitation and Supported Employment Programs operated by the Virginia Department of Rehabilitative Services.
The plan describes how employment services and rehabilitation services are being provided. The public’s input will be used to develop priorities and shape the plan for 2008.
The hearing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in Conference Rooms 2 and 3 of the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, VA 22035.
The current state plan can be reviewed at the Web site of the Virginia Department of Rehabilitative Services (DRS) at http://www.vadrs.org/stateplan.htm
