Celebrating African American History Month in Fairfax County
The public is invited to celebrate African American History Month at the Fairfax County Government Center on Friday, February 19, at a free event sponsored by the Diversity Council of Cox Communications in partnership with Fairfax County Government.
The festivities begin at 6 p.m. with a reception and musical performances by the Greater Little Zion Baptist Church Choirs and Praise Dancers and the NOVA Youth Ministry of Fine Arts.
At 7:30, Pin Points Theatre will present The Meeting, a powerful drama about the lives, philosophies and times of Malcolm X and Martin Luther King, Jr.
This free event will be held at the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Pkwy, Fairfax, VA.
