Fairfax County Legislative Director: Susan Mittereder
Susan Mittereder directs the County’s State and federal intergovernmental relations program, serves as principal legislative liaison with State and federal officials, and acts as spokesperson for the Board of Supervisors’ legislative initiatives and positions. Manages and supervises County lobbyists and legislative support team. Directs the development and implementation of the Board of Supervisors annual Legislative Program for the Virginia General Assembly; responsible for assessing the impact and directing the County response to proposed legislation in coordination with County agencies. Develops and directs the County’s federal legislative intergovernmental relations function.
