The Committee proposes matters to the Small Business Commission that
should be addressed by legislation and policy adjustments. If
approved by the Commission, these matters will be recommended to the
Board of Supervisors for disposition.
The proposed matters will be developed by a review of existing local, state, and federal legislation; policy directives; executive actions and outreach efforts to the small business community and local chamber of commerce. Matters that are addressed will be consistent with the Commission's efforts to encourage the creation and growth of small, minority and women-owned businesses and those owned by disabled persons in Fairfax County. |
