- Bids will be received in the office of the Director, Utilities Design and Construction Division, Department of Public Works and Environmental Services, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Suite 463, Fairfax, VA until 2 p.m., prevailing local time, Thursday, June 13, 2013. Bids received after that time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at 2:05 p.m., Thursday, June 13, 2013, in the fourth floor conference room, Suite 463, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, VA 22035-0056.
- Only pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids for this project. See the Ad For Bid for the list of contractors.
- A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., in the Bid Room, Suite 463, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, Virginia 22035-0056. All pre-qualified bidders are requested to attend.
- Bidding Documents may be obtained commencing Monday, May 13, 2013, from the Utilities Design and Construction Division.
- Each bona fide bidder is allowed one set of CDs free of charge. Hard copies of the Drawings and Specifications may be purchased for the non-refundable fee of $50.00 per set. Checks or money orders should be made payable to the “Director of Finance, Fairfax County.”
- Anyone wishing to have drawings and specifications mailed to them must include an additional $10.00 per set for handling and mailing. Payment for handling and mailing should be included in their check for drawings and specifications. A street address must be provided to permit UPS delivery.
