Courthouse Expansion Project
|
In 1998 and 2002, voters approved two bond referenda for the expansion and renovation of the Jennings Judicial Center. When complete, Circuit, General District and Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court will be in one building. Eventually, the expansion will also allow after-hours access to the public law library and some court clerk functions such as obtaining a marriage license. The project also includes site improvements and the construction of a new parking garage to accommodate approximately 1,900 vehicles. Below you will find information about the expansion project as it progresses. |
