Construction Progress April 2007

Important News and Information


Building Construction:

  • The Public Safety and Transportation Operations Center (PSTOC) project is 30% complete, and is currently on schedule and within budget.
  • The critical path for construction scheduling includes completion of the structure as well as both building envelopes. This path anticipates that once the PSTOC structure and envelope are complete, the contractor will move to the Forensics building to complete the same tasks.
  • Structural steel erection on the PSTOC portion of the facility is nearing completion. Structural steel erection is expected to begin at the Forensics facility in mid-May.
  • The structural truss at the facility's front entry was successfully set in place in mid-April.
  • Infrastructure for the communication monopole antenna continued.
  • Concrete curb and gutter installation at the visitor and employee parking lots has been completed.
  • Installation of precast concrete panels and the facility's exterior walls is also scheduled to begin in May.
