Construction Progress June 2007


Important News and Information

 

Building Construction:

  • The Public Safety and Transportation Operations Center (PSTOC) project is 40% complete, and is currently on schedule and within budget.
  • A topping-out celebration was held in the PSTOC building on June 22, 2007, in recognition of a major construction milestone.
  • PSTOC Facility:
  • The building is on schedule to be closed in by late summer.
  • Final connection and detailing of steel is in progress.
  • The pre-cast panels are installed.
  • Fireproofing of the building steel is nearing completion.
  • Installation of interior masonry walls is 90% complete.
  • Glazing has begun on the west clerestory, and additional glazing is stored on-site.
  • Layout of interior partition walls is in progress.
  • Roofing is scheduled to start in July 2007.
  • Forensics Facility:
  • Foundations and steel erection for the two story connector between the PSTOC building and the Forensics building are complete.
  • Construction of exterior masonry walls are in progress.
