Important News and Information

Building Construction:
-
The collaboration, planning, and communication of the Public
Safety and Transportation Operations Center (PSTOC) partners
continues, and has resulted in a project that is 55% complete, on
schedule, and within budget.
-
PSTOC Facility:
-
The building is on schedule to be closed in during September
2007.
-
Structural steel, structural concrete and pre-cast panel
erection are complete.
-
Fireproofing of the building steel is complete.
-
Installation of interior masonry walls is nearing completion,
installation of studs for interior walls is in progress and
dry wall installation has started.
-
Installation of metal frames for glazing on the west
clerestory and lobby wall is complete.
-
Installation of glass in the metal frames and the pre cast
openings is nearly complete. Roofing is also nearing
completion.
-
Installation of the first permanent power feed is nearly
complete. Meter installation and final check out is expected
in September 2007.
-
The second electrical feed is expected to be available spring
2008.
-
Testing of mechanical ductwork and piping is in progress.
-
Custom air handlers have been erected and installation of
pumps and chillers is in progress.
Forensics Facility:
-
Construction of exterior masonry walls and concrete slabs of
the two story connector to the Forensics building are
complete.

Installation of the connector glass wall is in progress.
-
The building is on schedule to be closed in during October.
-
Foundations and steel structure are complete.
-
The precast concrete panels have been erected and the
exterior masonry walls nearly complete.
-
The glass wall on the east side of the building is being
installed.
-
Fireproofing of steel on the first level is complete.
-
Underground utilities and concrete slabs are complete.
Roofing is nearing completion.
-
Installation of ductwork, overhead piping, and electrical
conduit continues.
