Building Construction:
-
The collaboration, planning, and communication of the Public
Safety and Transportation Operations Center (PSTOC) partners
continue, and have resulted in a project that is 70% complete, on
schedule, and within budget.
-
PSTOC Facility:
-
The PSTOC building and the two story connector to the
Forensics building were enclosed in September allowing all
interior work to progress.
-
Sealing of glass walls and flashing and sealing of the roof
continue.
-
Installation of masonry walls are complete and the
enclosure of partition walls is progressing.
Installation of removable access floors is in process.
-
Mechanical ductwork under the main communications room floor
is close to completion.
-
Testing of mechanical ductwork and piping continues.
-
Most of the mechanical equipment has been set in place or
delivered to the erector.

Installation of the elevators is in process.
-
The first permanent power feed is expected to be energized in
November.

The main electrical switchgear has been installed and panels
are being installed in the electrical closets.
-
Shipment and shop testing of the backup power generators is
expected in early November.

Installation of cable conduit and tray continues.
-
Installation of data and audio visual cabling is expected to
start in November.
Forensics Facility:
-
The building was enclosed ahead of schedule during September.
-
Interior masonry walls and installation of partition walls is
progressing.
-
Installation of overhead ductwork, piping, and electrical
tray and conduit is in process.
-
Roof flashing and sealing is in process.
-
Work on the enclosed yard and vehicle storage area has
started.
