Suggested Model Proffer Language for Use in Proposed Zoning Cases 

Specific tree preservation and landscaping proffers and/or development conditions are often required for certain zoning cases where trees play an important role on the site and in the surrounding community.  Unlike the Zoning Ordinance or Public Facilities Manual, this language is not governed by county or state code; however, the Urban Forest Management Division recommends using this suggested language in rezoning cases where tree preservation and landscaping proffers and/or development conditions are required.
