Watershed Summary - Pimmit Run
![]() |
Management Category DescriptionDevelopment within the watershed is extensive and has been occurring steadily for the last 50 years. Many communities in the area are quite old, as is the existing stormwater infrastructure draining them. Like many of the more impaired watersheds, the headwaters of the main stem originate within areas with the highest levels of imperviousness. The watershed as a whole is classified as a Watershed Restoration Level II Area and could benefit most from community education efforts and retrofitting with stormwater quality control facilities. |
