Urban Forestry Outreach


The Urban Forest Management Division offers information on the importance and benefits of trees as well as current threats posed by invasive forest pests. For over 30 years, Fairfax County has been proactive in raising awareness about the importance of trees and forests in our community. 

Urban Forest Management Division participates in:

  • Educational programs with schools and youth groups
  • Community events
  • Tree plantings
  • Seminars and meetings
