Online Building and Land Development Information
Looking for computerized land development information? Customers looking for information about building construction, site development or a zoning project can search for records in one of the following systems.
LDIH
The Land Development Information History (LDIH) system consolidates building, site, zoning and complaint information from numerous county systems into a single repository. LDIH provides an overall search on land development records. The easy-to-use search features make this tool the simplest and quickest method to retrieve site- and building-related information. LDIH data is updated weekly on Friday evenings.
FIDO
The Fairfax Inspections Database Online (FIDO) system provides a more specific search on building-related records, including permitting, plan review, inspection and complaints management services. FIDO also includes a Web portal that enables customers to process permit applications online and obtain real-time information.
LDSNet
The LDSNet system provides a more specific search on zoning and site-related records. In addition, this database also contains bonding and escrow information as well as building permits issued information. The LDSNet system has multiple search function capabilities for plans, bonding, escrows, inspections and building permits. There are also capabilites to search by addresses and magisterial districts.
