Yes, you can call your inspector. To obtain his/her name and telephone number, call Inspection Requests and Records at 703-222-0455, TTY 711 during business hours, or the commercial or residential offices:
- Residential inspections: 703-631-5101, TTY 711, press option #4 or online.
- Commercial building, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing inspections: 703-324-1910, TTY 711
Inspections will be performed for the day requested. However, some days there are more inspections requested than an inspector can perform. On these occasions, the remaining inspections will be conducted on the following business day. If you have more specific questions, or if you would like to reschedule the inspection, please call your inspector or the Commercial or Residential Division.
