Building Permit Requirements
- The construction of a new commercial building or structure in Fairfax County requires the building permits.
- Site plans and building plans are required and must be designed under the current building code and local design criteria.
- Your project must be inspected to ensure the construction is in accordance with the code and the approved plans.
- Special Inspections may be required and third-party inspections are permitted.
