TextGuidelines for Architects and Engineers
The Guidelines for Architects and Engineers set forth the parameters
for the design and construction of building projects implemented by the
Fairfax County Department of Public Works and Environmental Services.
These guidelines provide information that will need to be incorporated
into design and construction documents for the building projects in
DPWES. The Guidelines for Architects and Engineers are subject to
periodic revisions.
You can submit a request to Add, Delete, or Clarify a specific section. Please Note: These submissions will not be responded to immediately. They will be collected and reviewed quarterly for possible inclusion in future revisions to the Guidelines. You can also contact Planning and Design Division, DPWES at 703-324-5800, TTY 711.
