Training For Residential Wall Bracing

The Department of Public Works and Environmental Services in conjunction with the American Plywood Association (APA) is pleased to announce a special training opportunity for all interested architects, engineers, designers and contractors. During the recent code change from the CABO One & Two Dwelling Code to the International Residential Code (IRC), the requirements for wall bracing were strengthened causing much confusion in the construction industry. This class will review the new wall bracing provisions while also offering alternatives to the methods offered in the IRC.
