INSPECTION REQUIREMENTS
- To determine when and the the number of inspections required, review the Inspection Timing Check List (PDF).
- Some inspections may be required to conducted simultaneously.
- New homes built on problem soils are required to have all foundation inspections. See New Home Inspections (PDF) for more information.
SCHEDULING AN INSPECTION
Most inspections can be scheduled in using the following methods.
- By telephone during our hours of operation at 703-222-0455, TTY 711.
- Using the Fairfax Inspections Database Online (FIDO), 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Using the automated telephone system of FIDO at 703-222-2474, 24 hours a day, seven days a week (instructions and inspection codes).
