Bikes for the World Collection Dates

Bikes for the World collects repairable bicycles in the United States for donation to charities overseas.  These bicycles are then distributed to people in need of affordable transportation.

Note: $10/bike donation is suggested to defray shipping to overseas charity partners. A receipt is provided for all material and cash donations. Bikes for the World is a sponsored project of the Washington Area Bicyclist Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity. Collections will take place rain or shine. Bicycles may also be dropped off at selected bicycle retailers, including Bikes of Vienna, 128-A Church Street, Vienna as well as at the homes of individual volunteers. Please remember to leave a $10 donation (check preferred, payable to “BfW”) with each bike; Bikes for the World will mail you a receipt good for tax purposes.
