Materials for Disposal
The
Fairfax County I-66 Transfer Station
Complex and I-95 Landfill Complex accept a wide variety of solid
waste materials for disposal. Generally, all nonhazardous waste can be
disposed of at these two facilities. This includes household trash, scrap
wood, metal, brush, ceiling tiles, and appliances such as stoves, washers
and dryers. There is also a Household
Hazardous Waste disposal program operated at each facility during
designated hours.
