The Public Service
Counter is open five days a week to assist you with:
- Review and approval of permits for connection to the sanitary sewer system.
- Sewer availability information and sewer line location “as built” drawings for builders, developers, and citizens.
- Solutions to sewer service charge billing problems.

Directions
Availability (connection) and other sewer fees are collected during the building permitting process at the Government Center Public Service Counter or by the Land Development Services at the Herrity Building.
Information regarding sanitary sewer rates and service counter operating hours, normally from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, can be obtained by calling 703-324-5015, TTY 711.
