There will be two separate APR processes beginning in 2008: The BRAC-Related APR process will consider nominations in certain areas in the southeastern portion of the County that will be impacted by the influx of up to 20,000 new jobs to Fort Belvoir and the Engineer Proving Grounds. 2008 BRAC APR Schedule In the 2008-2009 North County APR cycle, Comprehensive Plan guidance for the northern portion of the County, including the Dranesville, Hunter Mill, Providence, and Sully Supervisor districts, will be reviewed. 2008 BRAC Area Plans Review |

The Guide to the 2008 BRAC Area Plans Review (APR) is now available and can be printed for use during the process. The Guide contains the nomination form and instructions, an overview of the BRAC APR process including the schedule, and a list of public information sources. Printed copies of the booklet will be available at the Supervisor District offices, the Planning Commission office and the office of the Planning Division in the Department of Planning and Zoning.
